A veterinary referral is needed from your vet for all rehabilitation and post injury/ surgery appointments however for regular preventative body work treatments and assessments this is not required.
Most pet insurance companies will provide cover for physiotherapy treatment under vet referral. It is up to individuals to claim for their expenses at the end of their treatment.
